...But if I did, I'd be sure to get Ninjabread Man! The reviews are averaging around three out of ten (on the PS2 version), but I'd buy it on the name alone.

Besides, how could you possibly go wrong with a tag line that reads...

Defend candy land from hordes of evil cupcakes, angry bees, and jelly monsters.

As it is, I'm currently playing through Halo 3 at the moment (on split screen co-op of course, much more fun with somebody else, and probably quite a bit easier), and a little bit of Viva Pinata (whilst I was ill last week).

Sony has unveiled a TV tuner which plugs into the PS3 and turns it into a personal video recorder like Sky+.
Rival Microsoft has touted its Xbox 360 as a platform for internet TV but no partner has yet come forward while its Xbox Live video download service has not launched outside the US.

I do love it when the BBC do their research.

Firstly, my Xbox acts as a media extender, allowing me to play, record, pause and fast forward live television - it lets me set up a series link to record entire series, burn to DVD through my PC or back up for later.

Center to this is the fact that I can do this on over 700 televisions through Sky.

Better still, it's High Definition if I want to be.

Add to that, Xbox 360 does have a partner for IPTV (British Telecom - BT - for those interested, and - better still - the same technology is built into BT's own set top boxes) and that the video marketplace (for downloading HD content such as television shows and movies) is launching by the end of the year (the Elite is out here on Friday), the fact that the PS3 has made the news for this more is laughable, when an existing console can do all this plus more. Heck, PS3 is limited to digital terrestrial (all 23 channels no less). Fuck me, my Sega Game Gear had a television tuner, 15 years ago. Alert the media!
